Civic integration policies. Contents, tools and gender dimension

In this article I Eye Makeup recover the conceptualizations of Javier de Lucas about civic integration published in the first decade of the 21st century, and then, based on the review of documents and specialized literature, I break down the contents and tools that support civic integration promoted by Western European countries since the beginning of 2000, with special attention to the gender dimension.Based on this review, I argue that, instead of decoupling citizenship from nationality, Venting Kit recognizing migrants as citizens and promoting their participation in the public and political sphere, as Javier de Lucas thought, civic integration policies culturalize, genderize and sexualize citizenship and operate as migration control tools inside and outside the national territory.
